This is Heru sitting still - a fairly rare occurrence - and looking mildly confused - a not so rare occurrence. The prodigal son had been trailing a string around in a circle which Heru was chasing after at full gallop. The string stopped moving and I came out with this gizmo attached to my face and poor Heru was overcome by confusion so much so he had to sit down to deal with it.
And here is the Muggle Monster taking a respite on the afghan my former step-daughter made me for Christmas in 2002. All the kittens like to snuggle on it, in it, and under it.
And here's a two for one shot of Mouse and the prodigal son sitting by the open back door. The two of them were fixing to get smoochy.
This is one of those wonderful trick shots you can get with a digital camera when everyone decides to move before the camera has actually finished snapping. This is actually the first shot I tried to take of my son and Mouse smooching by the back door.
I took all these pictures today after I got home from work. As you can see, Rainbow and Mouse are doing OK after their trip back to the vet. He said the incisions were healing nicely despite having only been stitched shut a couple of days. He wants us to keep a closer eye on the incision site and we definitely need to keep the three little monsters from doing any serious rough-housing for a week or so. I'm happy to report that Mouse engaged in some mild play with the prodigal son although she still doesn't feel much like playing with the other two hellions. I've already had to break up one wrestling match between Heru and Rainbow since I've been home.

YIPEE!! - Mouse looks better. So is the prodigal son also an obnoxious monster - hehehe.
Glad to see he is engaging the Mouse Monster in some smooching. She does appear to be the more sensitive baby doesn't she.
We took in two of our boys today and have two more kittens and 3 puppies to fix.
Well, of course the prodigal son is an obnoxious monster. I've been known to be one as well. ;P
I just have Heru left to fix but that won't happen for a few months. I still have to get him thru all his baby checkups first.
I love Heru, I really do. He has such huge paws!
He does have huge paws, doesn't he, for such a little cat. And he uses them to advantage in his wrestling matches with the girls.
with paws that size he could be a pretty big boy when he finally grows up
right now our adult cats range from about 5 pounds up to 12 pounds and I think some of the kitten will be giving them a run for their money so to speak
It is so much fun having 15 cats and 7 dogs and 21 goats - and several of the goats are pregrenant
Hey Seitherin - want a goat to go with the cats????
You've developed a death wish in your old age, haven't you? ;P
