I was unproductive, but the Prodigal Son wasn't

I finally got the instructions for the cable pattern up. Any of you knitters who pop in please let me know if the instructions make sense or if I made an obvious error in the instructions. I've proofed them twice but since I know what they're supposed to say I'm not altogether sure I can see a mistake.

I did a whole lot of nothing this weekend while the Prodigal Son enlisted the aide of his friend to do a bunch of work in the yard. They mowed and edged and trimmed and dug up and hoed and weeded. It cost me two meals and a trip to the movies for all the work they did, but it was more than worth it.

The only thing vaguely productive I did was buy a couple of bags to cart my crafty stuff around in. I picked up one for my cross stitching and another for my knitting and / or crocheting. I stuffed the bags in the closet so I haven't actually put anything in them yet. I expect I'll get around to that on Thursday or Friday so I can take my knitting with me while I visit the Best Friend. If we go where we're thinking of going, I won't be driving so I can knit during the ride. And if we don't go, I'll have the knitting for the evenings when we're sitting around doing a bunch of nothing much.
