The second day
I just got home a little over half an hour ago from my second day at work. I'm very pooped. The drive up in the morning is lovely and refreshing, but the drive home in the afternoon is exhausting.
So far the job is good although I am being inundated with information that really doesn't mean much to me . . . yet.
Oh, well. I'm off to scrounge up something to eat and plug myself into the TV so I can watch the season premier of Gilmore Girls.

so home around 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. - not bad for the distance.
will this be normal or are you staying late?
Closer to 6:30 pm is about normal for rush hour traffic in the afternoon. Today I got home at 6:59pm because I stopped at Starbuck's to have a coffee and read for about 30 minutes before I drove home.

I wish I could answer that, but I can't. I have no idea what I'm going to be doing or if I'm even going to be in the area (altho I don't think they'd send me off during such obvious family holidays, but who knows . . .)
I really expect the next 3-6 months to be very busy with a lot of long hours and possibly even a bit of being sent of for schooling.
I just don't know.
and ain't that part of the fun!!
