The Prodigal Son has a job!
Happy dance!
Today was his first day. It has something to do with insulation and chemical plants. For the next few weeks, he'll be working 7/10s so he'll be bringing home a pretty nice paycheck every week. I may tell him that he gets to pay for having Izzy fixed since she's not 'my' cat.

Congratulations! Good to hear the prodigal is "off the streets" as we say here.
Can you ask for room and board now? ;-)

I could, but he'd just look at me funny. ~ grin ~
If he pays to have the Izzy fixed, I'll be happy.
Actually, just having him pay for his gas and food and the odd meal for me will be a really big help. He's offered to give me some money every week, but I'm not really expecting to see any. Since he's never really had money to spend, I expect he'll buy, buy, buy until he gets that out of his system.
If he's offering money - take it while you can and not just for the cat.
HE OWES YOU BIG TIME!!!
